The mission of CIMA/ La Misiόn de CIMA::

CIMA was initiated in 2007, and is a project co-sponsored by three Lutheran Churches (Trinity, Mount Calvary, and Lutheran Community) and the Watsonville First United Methodist Church. The mission of CIMA is to provide information and support for the immigrant community of the Pajaro Valley. The sponsoring churches understand this project as an expression of God’s calling to identify with the “alien and stranger” in our midst and to join the struggle for justice and equality

CIMA se iniciό en el 2007 y es un proyecto co-auspiciado por  tres Iglesias luteranas (Trinidad, Monte Calvario y la iglesia Luterana de la Comunidad) y la Primera Iglesia Metodista Unida de Watsonville. La misiόn de CIMA es de proveer informaciόn y apoyo para la comunidad inmigrante del Valle de Pájaro. Las Iglesias auspiciadoras ven este proyecto como una expresiόn del llamado de Dios para identificarse con “el forastero y el extranjero” en medio de nosotros y unirnos a la lucha por la justicia e igualdad en el mundo
